Privacy Policy

Effective October 27, 2026 · Applies to the shesWall iOS App Store app

shesWall is developed by DonLau. You do not need a shesWall account. The app has no advertising, tracking SDKs or analytics that send your use of the app to us.

Photos and wall content

Photos you choose, captions, decorations and wall settings are processed and stored on your device. We do not upload your photo wall to our servers. The system photo picker gives the app access only to the items you select. Saving or sharing an image occurs when you request it; the destination you choose then handles that shared content under its own policies.

Device backups may include app data according to your Apple backup settings. Remove individual items within the app, or remove the app and its local data through iOS settings. Export anything you wish to keep first.

Optional iCloud backup in version 1.1

Starting with version 1.1, you may enable iCloud backup and sync. All walls, selected original photos, captions, paper and pin styles, custom stickers and layout settings are stored in your private CloudKit database, using your Apple Account and iCloud storage. Other users cannot read these records, and the developer has no interface to view your private walls. No shesWall account is required.

Sync runs when you use the app and return while online. Wait for the backup-complete status before removing the app or changing devices. Turning sync off stops future synchronization; it does not erase existing iCloud data. Archiving is reversible and retains the wall and its media. Conflicting edits are preserved as separate walls, and earlier snapshots may be retained for recovery. To remove all cloud content, use Apple’s iCloud storage management for shesWall. Removing local app data alone does not delete cloud backups.

Motion

Device motion is used locally to move the wall perspective. Motion readings are not transmitted to us or retained as a motion history.

Purchases and trial timing

Apple processes payments and provides verified StoreKit transaction information to the app. We do not receive your payment card details. The app uses purchase type, purchase date and refund status to determine access. A local time checkpoint is stored in the device Keychain to keep the 7-day trial consistent. This checkpoint may remain after reinstalling the app. Purchase history is managed by Apple and allows restoration using the same Apple Account.

Support and this website

If you email hi@donbox.me, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and resolve the issue. Ask us at the same address if you want your support correspondence deleted, subject to records we must retain by law.

This support website has no advertising or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider may process standard technical request information, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and secure the website.
